Objective of Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana 2024

This scheme has been launched by Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of Haryana state. The main objective of this scheme is to provide housing facilities to all poor families in the state through this medium. People of Haryana state who do not have their own house to live in or are living in underdeveloped houses can apply under the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme and buy a house or plot at a low price. Under this scheme, the Haryana government will provide the benefit to one lakh economically weak families.

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana 2024

• Under the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme, one lakh poor families will be given houses or plots at a low price.
• Poor families living in urban areas can apply for this scheme.
• Applicants will have to apply online to build under this scheme.
• Families with an annual income of less than Rs. 180,000 can avail the benefits of this scheme.
• The government has given priority to nomadic caste families for applying for this scheme.
• Under this scheme, economically weaker sections of families will benefit and become self-reliant and empowered.

Eligibility Criteria

• The benefit of the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme will be given only to the original residents of Haryana state.
• Only citizens of urban areas in Haryana state can avail the benefits of this scheme.
• To avail the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs. 180,000.
• Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
• Families who do not have their own house to live in or are living in kutcha houses can apply for this scheme.
• No house should be registered in the name of any member of the applicant’s family in the urban area.

How to Apply Online

• To apply for the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, first of all go to the official website of the Haryana government.
• Then click on “Register” for the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme.
• Next, enter your “Family Identity Card Number”.
• Then click on the “Enter” option.
• After that, enter the name of the member in whose name you want to apply.
• Then click on the “Send OTP” option.
• An “OTP” will be sent to the mobile number registered with your family ID.
• Verify the OTP by entering it.
• After this, you will see two options: Flat and Plot. If you want to buy a plot at a low price, choose Plot, and if you want to buy a house at a low price, choose the Flat option.
• Then click on the “Proceed” option.
• Now you will have to select “Down Payment” and “Monthly Installment”.
• Then click on the “Proceed” option.
• After this, an “OTP” will be sent again to the mobile number registered with your family ID.
• Enter this OTP to verify it. Once the OTP is verified, your application will be successfully “Submitted”.
