One Nation One Student Card: You must have already made your Aadhaar Card. The Aadhaar Card demonstrates that you are an Indian and reside in a specific state or district of India. It has become your national ID. Similarly, students currently studying in schools and colleges will now be issued a APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) as their National Student ID. Through this APAAR card, students will have a unique ID across entire India. This ID card will include a 12-digit unique ID number that will track students’ complete academic activities. A student’s score, mark sheet, grade sheet, degree, diploma, and certificates can all be viewed under a single ID.

What is APAAR ID ?

APAAR ID is a special digital identification system for students in India. It is an effort to digitally organize and preserve students’ academic information. Through the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID, students will be able to easily access information related to their schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.

Purpose of APAAR ID Card

Now implementing the One Nation One Student system in India will be in the students’ best interest. Students will no longer need to create different documents each time. As they progress through higher classes, their record will be continuously logged online in their APAAR ID. Features of APAAR ID Card

One Nation One Student ID Card i.e. Apaar ID Card has been developed digitally and a 12 digit unique account number will be registered in this card which will be updated digitally like the Aadhar Card. Apar ID card is being made only after verification of Aadhar card. The main features of this card will be as follows :-

Unique Identification Number: Each student will be given a unique 12-digit number that will remain valid throughout their academic life.

Digital Card

  • Students will receive the option of both a physical card and a digital ID.
  • Digital cards can be accessed through mobile apps and portals.

Academic Records

  • Student’s academic achievements, including exam results, certificates, and project details will be stored in this system.
  • This data will remain secure and accessible even when students change schools or colleges.

Attendance Record:

  • Through the APAAR ID, students’ attendance records will be maintained by schools/colleges.

How to Make APAAR ID Card ?

  • First, search for SSUP on Google.
  • The website https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ will open in front of you.
  • Next, click on the Aadhaar Validity Check option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar card number and fill in the captcha code.
  • Here, you can check which mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card.
  • An OTP will be sent to the linked mobile number, through which you can create your APAAR ID card.
  • Now you need to go to another website with the URL https://www.abc.gov.in/ On the ABC ID card official website Select the Students section in the My Account section.
  • Click on Sign Up to create a new account.
  • Create your account number here.
  • Now you need to enter your academic information.
  • Your APAAR ID card will be generated from here. To download it, log in to DigiLocker.
  • From DigiLocker, you can download your APAAR ID card.
