Verify E-Challan and Traffic Penalties
- Step 1:- First of all, download mParivahan App from Play Store or App Store.
- Step 2:- On opening the app, you will see two options to sign in and create account. To create a new account in mParivahan App, click on the Create Account option.
- Step 3:- Now a new page will open in front of you. Where you select your state. Then enter your full name, mobile number and email ID and in the Set six digit security pin section, enter any 6 digit PIN as per your wish and click on Submit option.
- Step 4:- Now an OTP will come on your given mobile number. Enter that OTP in the Enter OTP section and click on the Verify button. As soon as you click on the Verify button, your account will be successfully created in the mParivahan app. Now you have to login only by entering your Mpin while logging in, so always remember your Mpin.
How to check challan?
- Step 1:- First of all open the downloaded mParivahan App in your phone. After this the login page will open in front of you. There you enter the MPIN created while creating the account in the 6 digit security MPIN section. And click on the option of Sign in with MPIN.
- Step 2:- Now the home page of the application will open in front of you. Where you will see many options, choose the option of Transport Services.
- Step 3:- Now first select your state and select the Challan Status option from the Challan related services section shown below.
- Step 4:- Select the Vehicle Number option. Enter your vehicle number in the Enter vehicle number section. In the Enter Chassis number section, enter the last 5 digits of your Chassis number and in the Engine number section, enter the last 5 digits of your engine number.
This Chassis number and Engine number are given in your RC. After entering all the information, click on the Get details option.
- Step 5:- As soon as you click on Get details, if you get a popup message of Challan not found, then it means that no challan has been issued on your vehicle till now. If you do not get the popup message, you can check your vehicle challan by going to the Pending section.
How to Pay e-Challan & Traffic Fines
- Step 1:- First of all, login to mParivahan App by entering your MPIN. Now choose the option of Transport Services from the many options visible on the home page.
- Step 2:- Select your state and select Payment option from the options visible in the Challan related services section.
- Step 3:- Select the Challan Number option and enter your challan number in the Enter Challan Number section and click on the Get details option.
- Step 4:- Now select View Details option from the Search and view details options visible.
- Step 5:- As soon as you click on the View details option, all the information related to your challan will be visible to you and Payment Status Pending will be visible. To make payment, click on the Payment Now option shown below.
- Step 6:- Now a new page will open in front of you, click on the Next button. As soon as you click on the Next button, your Payment Gateway will open. You can choose any mode of payment as per your wish like credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI and pay your challan by entering all the information correctly.
