What is Ayushman Card Scheme ?

For those who are still unfamiliar with this scheme, we would like to inform you that this scheme was launched on December 23, 2018, by India’s Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. If you get an Ayushman Card made, you can avail free treatment up to 5 lakh rupees in a year. The cost of the benefits provided under this scheme is borne 60% by the central government and 40% by the state government. Eligibility Criteria

• Only permanent residents of India can apply for the Ayushman Card.

• People who are included in the social, economic, and caste census can apply for this scheme.

How to Apply for Ayushman Card ?

• First, you need to go to the official portal of Ayushman Card and log in as a beneficiary using your mobile number.
• After that, you need to select your state name, district name, scheme name, and enter your ration card number to check if your name is on the list.
• Then, all the names of the members on the ration card will be displayed.
• You need to click on the Action button next to the name of the person for whom you want to make the Ayushman Card.
• Next, you need to verify through an OTP sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar.
• After that, you will see all the information from the ration card, and then you’ll need to capture a photo.
• Then, you need to fill in your relevant information and click on the submit button. This way, your Ayushman Card will be created.

How to Add Ayushman Card New Member

1. To add a new member to the Ayushman Card list, first, you need to go to its official portal.
2. Then, you need to log in.
3. After logging in, you need to click on the ‘Add New Member’ option.
4. Now, an application form to add a name will open in front of you, where you need to fill in all the required information.
5. After completely filling the form, you need to submit it and save the reference number securely.
