Makan Marmat Yojana 

The Haryana government has launched the House Repair Scheme. Under this scheme, Dr. Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme was started to help Scheduled Caste and Backward Class families of the state in house repairs and construction of new houses. We also know this as the Makan Marmat Yojana.

Under this scheme, the Haryana government earlier provided an amount of ₹50,000, but now changes have been made to this scheme and the financial assistance has been increased to ₹80,000. Since inflation is continuously rising, the materials required for house repairs are also becoming more expensive in this inflation.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Makan Marmat Yojana, you must have the following qualifications :

• The benefit of Makan Marmat Yojana is being given only to the permanent residents of Haryana.
• Under this scheme, the applicant should be a candidate belonging to SC, ST, OBC and backward classes of Haryana.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh.
• The house of the applicant should be 10 years old or older.
• The applicant should not have taken benefit of any type of housing scheme.

Makan Marmat Yojana Registration

• To apply for the Makan Marmat Yojana, you first need to visit the official website of the Saral Portal.
• After going to its homepage, you will see many options.
• In this portal, you will find a “New Registration” option, which you need to click.
• After that, you need to carefully fill in all your information in the registration application form.
• Then you get a username and password when your registration is complete.
• Now you need to login to the Saral Portal using these user ID and password.
• After that, you need to click on the House Repair Scheme option.
• You need to fill in all your information very carefully in this application form.
• Then you need to scan and upload some of your documents.
• Now you need to completely final submit the Makan Marmat Yojana application form.
• After that, you get a receipt for applying to the Makan Marmat Yojana.
