What is Majha Ladka Bhau Yojana 2024 ?

Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana is a scheme that provides financial assistance to educated unemployed youth and students of Maharashtra state while connecting them to free skill training. Through this, youth who have passed 12th grade, graduates, and postgraduates will be given financial assistance ranging from 6000 rupees per month to 10000 rupees per month. This assistance amount is being given to help students continue their studies during skill training and to meet their basic needs. Any student who wants to receive this money will have to go through a training process in a company or factory for a specific period.

Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra this year, so the government’s goal is to benefit as many people as possible through direct financial assistance. Some time ago, the Majhi Ladki Bahan Yojana was also introduced with the same objective, which provides for financial assistance of 1500 rupees every month to women from economically weak backgrounds. Similarly, now the Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana has been launched exclusively for boys, which provides for financial aid in the form of stipends: 6000 rupees per month for 12th pass youth, 8000 rupees per month for those who have passed 12th along with a diploma, and 10000 rupees per month for those with graduation or higher educational qualifications.

• Under this scheme, eligible individuals will be provided an apprenticeship in a factory or company for 1 year.
• During the apprenticeship, a stipend ranging from 6000 rupees per month to 8000 rupees per month will also be provided.
• This entire amount will be sent to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
• The government’s goal is to provide free skill training to 10 lakh unemployed youth every year.
• This scheme will promote skill development among youth.
• All beneficiaries will also be able to apply for jobs in the respective companies after completing their training.
• With the financial assistance provided under the scheme, youth will be able to search for employment for themselves.

• Only boys will be eligible to apply for this scheme.
• The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra.
• At the time of application, the individual should be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old.
• The minimum educational qualification is 12th pass; applicants with higher educational qualifications will also be eligible for the scheme.
• The applicant should not be receiving benefits from any other allowance scheme.

How to Apply for Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana ?

However, Maharashtra government has not yet released any separate official website for this. But application for this can be made by visiting the Rozgar Mahaswayam portal of the Maharashtra Government. For online application, follow these steps :-

• First, go to the official portal of Rojgar Mahaswayam.
• Click on the ‘Register’ option on the home page.
• On the next page, you will be asked for a mobile number. Enter it and complete OTP verification.
• After this, a registration form will appear in front of you.
• Carefully enter all the information requested in this form.
• After entering the information, upload the necessary documents.
• Finally, click on the ‘Register’ option.
• This way, you will receive a login ID, i.e., username and password.
• Use this Login ID to log in to the portal.
• Now your details will appear on the dashboard, where you will need to enter some additional information.
• After entering, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter the received OTP for verification.
• Finally, click on submit.
