Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
Under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana, poor and economically weak people who are living in kutcha houses and don’t have their own pucca house are provided financial assistance of ₹1,50,000 as eligible beneficiaries to build a pucca house under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana.
Additionally, this financial assistance amount is given in three equal installments of ₹40,000 each, and NREGA job card holders will separately receive ₹18,000 for labor costs to build the house, and ₹12,000 separately for toilet construction, meaning under these schemes a total of ₹1.5 lakh is provided.
Eligibility Criteria
PM Awas Gramin New App 2025 : To apply for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, applicants can avail the benefits of this scheme only if they fulfill the following documents and criteria. Which is as follows :
- To receive benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana, the applicant’s monthly income should be ₹15,000 or less, only then will they be eligible for PM Awaas Yojana benefits.
- Although previously this limit was set at ₹10,000, it has now been increased to ₹15,000.
- To avail benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana, the applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previously, those who owned a motorcycle and refrigerator were not given housing scheme benefits, but now people who own refrigerators and motorcycles will also be eligible for benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana.
- PM Awaas Yojana benefits will only be given to economically weak and poor families who do not have pucca houses to live in.

- To apply, the applicant should first visit the official website of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana at https://pmayg.nic.in.
