Shramik Sulabh Awas Yojana 2024

The Rajasthan government has launched the Shramik Sulabh Awas Yojana 2024 to address the housing problems of workers. Under this scheme, the government is providing an assistance amount of 1.50 lakh rupees to eligible workers for housing construction.

Those who do not have money to build a permanent house can take advantage of this scheme to construct one. All eligible workers can apply under this scheme to receive the assistance amount.

Features of Shramik Sulabh Awas Yojana

• The Rajasthan government launched this scheme on January 1, 2016.
• Financial assistance of 1,50,000 rupees is provided to the poor and labour class.
• If a worker constructs a house costing 5 lakh rupees on their own plot, the government provides 25% of its cost.
• This assistance amount is transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

• Assistance up to Rs 1.5 lakh for building a house.

Eligibility and Conditions for Shramik Sulabh Awas Yojana

• The applicant worker must have all the necessary documents.
• Priority to beneficiaries of BPL category, Scheduled Caste and Tribe.
• The benefit of the scheme will be available only to labor families having two daughters.
• The workers should be registered with the Construction Workers Board for at least one year.
• It is necessary for the applicant to have registered land to build a house.
• The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
• The applicant’s bank account should be linked to Aadhaar card.

• After this click on the option of “Scheme”.
