A few years ago, the central government launched the E-Shram Card for all workers and laborers in the unorganized sector. Its purpose was to provide financial assistance of 500 to 1000 rupees per month to these daily wage workers. Later, through this E-Shram Card, these workers began to be linked to several other schemes, one of which is the E-Shram Card Pension Yojana. Through this scheme, all eligible workers and laborers in the unorganized sector will be given a monthly pension of 3000 rupees after they reach the age of 60 years. This is to ensure that when workers are no longer able to work, they can easily meet their daily expenses.
The government provides pension benefits to all government employees, and gradually other people are also being included in pension benefits. However, these daily wage workers face many financial difficulties after reaching a certain age. As a result, these workers become dependent on others. Benefits and features of E-Shram Card Pension Yojana
- Workers are provided pension benefits after reaching 60 years of age.
- Each eligible beneficiary will receive a pension amount of 36,000 rupees per year.
- This pension amount will be sent to the beneficiary’s bank account monthly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
- Before availing the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary has to register in the Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana.

How to Apply for E-Shram Card Pension Yojana 2024
Any person can apply for E-Shram Card Pension Scheme only through online mode. Follow the procedure given below for online application :-
- First, you need to go to the official website of E-Shram.
- Now you will see a link for RegisterOnmaandhan.in on the right side of the homepage. Click on it.
- Upon clicking, you will be redirected to the official page of Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana.
- If you want more information about this scheme, click on the Scheme link and then click on PM-SYM. To apply, click on Login.
- After clicking on Login, a new page will appear on your screen where you need to click on Self Enrollment.
- Now you need to enter your mobile number and click on Proceed.
- Upon clicking, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter it for verification.
- After this, the application form for e-Shram card pension scheme or Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana will appear in front of you.
- Carefully fill in all the information requested in this form and upload all necessary documents.
- Finally, click on Final Submit.
- This way, you will be able to apply for the e-Shram card pension scheme.

- Go to the official website of e-Shram and click on “Register On E Shram” on the homepage.
- On the next page, you will need to enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- After that, enter other information and complete OTP verification.
- Now a form will appear in front of you. Fill in all the requested information and click on Submit.
